Quick tips:
- To form numbers from 21–99, say the tens then the units separated by a space: for example, 21 = "dvidešimt vienas", 47 = "keturiasdešimt septyni".
- Many Lithuanian numbers contain the letter "š" (s with caron) and accented vowels like "ū". Focus on the consonant quality and a short vowel sound; playing audio helps.
- For hundreds and thousands, use the singular base: 100 = "šimtas", 200 = "du šimtai" (note plural forms for counts beyond one), 1,000 = "tūkstantis".
- Practice by counting out loud and using the clickable audio in the table. Repetition builds recognition quickly.
Use this list as a foundation. Once you are comfortable with these words, start combining tens and units in real phrases (phone numbers, prices, dates) to build fluency.
